My Favorite Thing About Winter Break

Over the break I love to go to the gym and work on my craft to help lead my team to success. Since we don't have practice or open gym over the break, I go to a regular workout gym or like a rec center and focus on getting better, as a person and a player. Also, over the break I enjoy spending time with my family especially since my brothers come home from college. Being as though I'm next up for college, and I'm the only one in the house because my younger siblings don't live with me, I don't see my family often so I take advantage of the holidays and spend time with my favorite brothers.

                                                   HOW I SPENT MY WEEKEND:

My weekend was pretty boring and disappointing. I was suppose to have junior varsity practice Saturday and Sunday, but due to the weather and Epps being a female it got canceled. So, instead I went over Jersey with my dad and his girlfriend. Over Jersey I went to the gym and played basketball with my dad , my brother , and my dad's girlfriend's kids. Other than that I didn't do much over the weekend.

How I spent my thanksgiving break:

During Thanksgiving break I stayed in the gym because our first basketball is merely a week away. I spent my time working on my craft , I want to make the most of my sophomore year. I didn't eat as much as I usually would (shocking I know). I'm actually proud of the work i put in to be successful. However, I'm not yet satisfied. 7 more days until season tip off. I CAN'T WAIT!

Practice makes perfect in every thing you plan on becoming famous for. It doesn't matter what people think about your dream, as long as you believe in yourself you can't be stopped. If your dream doesn't come with haters then it isn't big enough. Hard work and dedication is something we all hear about over and over, but it makes sense. No one is going to hand you a scholarship, a contract, or a jersey all willy nilly. You have to work for everything you want this world won't hand it to you.
